The
Hand2Hand Bible Donation Program is a way for you to personally
get involved in spreading God's Word--a way for you to donate
money to a worthy cause and really "get your hands
on" how that money is spent.
Many students that
we come in contact with are hungry for answers, for guidance and
direction in their crazy world. They are looking everywhere,
and we do mean everywhere, to find meaning in their
lives.
You
may already know that real
answers, real truth and real direction comes only from God's
Word! Most students today believe God's Word is old,
boring and irrelevant. Our goal is to put study
Bibles translated into modern English language into the
hands of these hungry students, so they can begin to learn
God's Word and see how relevant and practical it can be in
their daily lives.
Many
students we see on a regular basis have a strong desire to
learn more about their Heavenly Father, but don't have a
good study Bible--or any Bible at all. We believe
that the New Living Translation is an
excellent translation for students.

 The
goal of any Bible translation is to convey the
meaning of the ancient Hebrew and Greek texts as
accurately as possible to the modern reader. The New
Living Translation is based on the most recent
scholarship in the theory of translation. The
challenge for the translators was to create a text
that would make the same impact in the life of
modern readers that the original text had for the
original readers. In the New Living Translation,
this is accomplished by translating entire thoughts
(rather than just words) into natural, everyday
English. The end result is a translation that is
easy to read and understand and that accurately
communicates the meaning of the original text

How
Does the Hand2Hand Program Work?

Step
1 |
Your
part is actually very simple. You
make a tax-deductible donation to ICN Resources, and
designate your money to go to the Hand2Hand program.
Study
Bibles are $25 each, 2 for $50, 3 for $75, 4 for $100,
etc.

students below.

Step
2 |
ICN
Resources prints a label containing your name and
address and attaches it to the inside of each of the
Bibles
your donation purchases, as the following example shows.

3 |
When ICN Resources finds a
student who is hungry for God's Word and in need of a
good Study Bible, we will prayerfully consider donating
one of your Study Bibles to the student.

4 |
Once
a Study Bible is donated, ICN Resources will then send
you the name and mailing address and a brief description
of the student to whom it was donated.
|

5 |
You
can begin to specifically pray for the student on a
regular basis--that God would use this new Study Bible
to teach, inspire, motivate and encourage the student in
their daily walk. You can even send the student a
note of encouragement if you desire.
